- I Need A Sm Bus Controller Driver For My Hp Laptop Windows 7
My computer is not recognising my usb memory sticks and I am told that the problem is that under device manager the SM Bus Controller is showing that it does not have a driver and this is the answer. Any help would be much appreciated. Click the plus sign next to System Devices, and then find the SM Bus Controller entry. If you still do not see an SM Bus Controller entry, your computer does not have an SM Bus Controller. Right-click SM Bus Controller, and then select Update Driver. Follow the instructions to update the driver software.
Hey everyone,
I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 and of course I've lost the disk with the drivers for my laptop.
I've spent a while looking for the correct drivers for my SM Bus Controller, and while I've got the Vendor ID and Device ID all pinned down I can't for the life of me find the right driver through a Google search or through the manufacturer's website.
Here are the details:
Laptop: Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7222
AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon HD Graphics
And here are the Hardware ID's for the controller:
PCIVEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_FC671179&REV_13
PCIVEN_1022&DEV_780B&SUBSYS_FC671179
PCIVEN_1022&DEV_780B&CC_0C0500
PCIVEN_1022&DEV_780B&CC_0C05
Thanks in advance for the help!
